You'll need grades on those coins at the very least, or better yet, pictures. Without being able to grade them, the best anyone can do is give you ballpark ranges. Additionally, there might be mintmarks on the German and US coins.

  • Estimates:
    Poland 1937 2 Groszy EF $0.60
Germany 1903 2 Pfennig VF None made that year. Maybe Austria 2 heller?
Belgium 1910 10 Centimes F None made that year. Maybe Belgian Congo?
Canada 2002 50 cent coin Golden Jubilee EF $0.50
Canada 1983 Edmonton Oilers Dollar Dave Semenko VF ??? $1 for the University Games dollar
US 1917 Indian Head Nickel G Buffalo nickel $2 if no mintmark
US 1929 Indian head Nickel F Buffalo nickel $1.50 if no mintmark

You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

As a hockey fan I'd be willing to bet you could sell that Edmonton coin for more than a buck to a Oiler fan on eBay.

I will discribe the unknow cions to see if that helps id them.

what I thought was a 1910 belgium 10 centimes: same size as a US penny, has a hole in the middle, dark silver/grey in color, back has a branch with leaves about half way around the hole and 5 ces, face says royaume de belgique** 1910 i guess it's 5 not 10

what I thought was a 1903 Germany 2 Pfennig: same size as a US penny, dark brown in color, back has branch with leaves under a large 2 pluse some other boarder markings, face has small crown at top crest in the middle flanked by two (what looks like) indian head dresses.

where would the mint mark be on the indian heads?

The mintmark on the Buffalo nickels, if there was one, would be a little "D" or "S" below "FIVE CENTS" on the reverse of the coin.
