Gretzky OPC PSA 10????

Has anyone seen the picture of the PSA 10 Opc Gretzky rookie in the PSA Grading and Authentication book? From the picture they have of it - I can't see the yellow dot on his shoulder - the true sign of a real Opc card. Also, when I checked the serial # with PSA - it comes up as a PSA 9 Opc Gretzky not a PSA 10!!! I just renewed my membership and got this book with my package - it has the PSA Sportscard Hall of Fame with the PSA 10 Gretzky on page 5. I'm not sure what to think????image

From what I recall PSA did that intentionally. No hanky panky involved. I'm sure the dot is there, just hard to see because of the size of the image.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • Yeah - the picture is kinda small - the dot is probably there - but why have it entered as a PSA 9? Has this card surfaced any where yet?

Pretty sure it's a private collector who owns it, so I wouldn't expect it to surface, at least not any time soon.
