grading nomenclature question

was looking at some ebay auction and had my eye on 1 but was unsure what this means: "PSA 10 GEM MINT 1/2" ------What does the 1/2 mean.

He's basically saying that the total population of this card in PSA 10 quality is 2. And the card in the auction is 1 of them.

I see now, 1/2 just means 1 of 2.

In this case, it might mean that the seller has sold two things on ebay, and this is one of them.
