NEWP 10,000 Yen

Forgive me,,,I have coveted,,,,,image

But since Roy completed his type set of 10,000 Yen and placed the pictures on this forum I have wanted one...They don't show up very ofter and certainly NOT in PCGS PROOF 69 DCAM.

Now I need to clean my keyboard of the Drool that was deposited upon it while waiting for the 2 second
snipeimage

    That 10,000 yen is my favorite Japanese gold commemerative. Very beautiful!! I like the original mint packaging, but it's hard to find them that way over here. Heck, it's hard to find them over here in any kind of packaging!! Congratulations!!!

    Take another look at my sig coins. They are ¥100,000. Yours (Y#91, 20g pure gold) shares its design with my Y#105 (30g pure gold) as both were issued to commemorate the 15th year of Emperor Akihito's reign.

    My ¥10,000 is only PCGS PR68 DCAM, so you've got me beat there!

    BTW, to complete your ¥10,000 set, you need the 1997 and 1998 Nagano Olympics coins, and the 2002 World Cup commem. (Me too. image )

    Incredible!!!!!!!! I think that is the most beautifully designed coin I have ever seen - every time Roy posts I stare at his sig line and drool - A coin I will never aquire but can admire!!! Great catch!!!!
