The 1/1 # 1 is now a #1 1/2 - I don't know if I like the new one

This is the first available 10 for the 1 card.

Here is the second

The Highlight series are PITAs for centering.

    Wow - yours, Rob?

I agree - it took me a while just to get a 9 in this card.

It appears that Topps designed those cards with the lower pink portions crooked,
which makes both of them appear to be slightly diamond cut at first glance.

By the way, I like the top one a little better. image

Wolf, the one you like is not a diamond cut.The illusion of it being that was is because of the common tilt on the Highlight series.

However,PSA 10s from this set early on did not have centering like this new # 1. Usually it was a ugly 9 and that's it for any portion from 1-726. I'd say out of the original 80 something 10s I had about 5 had godawful centering including a zero cert# Rose #4 that was worse than this new pop 2 #1.

I'd like this new one just to check it out,but I'd rather invest into other cards for my NYY Team set.

Wow! Thant RedSoxJeff is winning all high grade 10's of Boston players. Anyone know him? He won a 1980 Fisk PSA 10 off of me about a month or two ago.
