Let's see how good you are at cherrypicking a Peace $ VAM.....

I'm getting pretty good at Cherrypicking.... Here's a picture of a Peace dollar as I viewed it (The size that I viewed) knowing full well what VAM it was.... Let's see how long it takes for someone here to attribute it correctly......

I think I know...at least I know what I see that is interesting and promising...but I won't spoil it so early for others. I'll PM Peaceman and check back later to see if I was on the right track.

Is that a die gouge I see from the W of WE to the rim?
  • Greg gets it.... It's a 2E....

Yippeee! So do we get to see the reverse now? And will it slab? For the benefit of other members, here is the substance of my earlier PM to Peaceman:

The 1922 Peace posted for VAM guessing appears to have the shallow die gouge running from 'W' down to the rim, passing the '9' on the left side. Also appears to have the die crack crossing the neck. Although I can't make out the die crack intersecting the top of the 'T' in TRUST, I see enough to cause me to believe it is a VAM 2E and should have a nice die break on the reverse on the eagle's back. Hope I'm right. If so, its a nice coin you got.
