Lunch at the Frederick, MD Coin Show tomorrow ,Friday 1-21-05

If Mike Dixon's Coin Show isn't snowed out on Saturday, would everyone like to go out someplace to eat lunch? Maybe about 12:30? Meet at Mike Dixon's table? I was thiniking that we could go out to one of the local restaurants near the fairgrounds.

If it is snowed out, you are are your own for lunch.

Things are not looking good for this show.

Forecast for Frederick County

Friday Night
Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow after midnight. Lows around 10 above. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Saturday
Snow likely. Highs around 30. Chance of snow 60 percent.

Saturday Night
Snow likely. Lows in the lower 20s. Chance of snow 60 percent.

Now we have frozen rain in the forcast for Saturday and Saturday night in the Richmond area. I was planning to go to this show, but unless the forcasts change for the areas from Richmond to Frederick I'm just not going to risk my life with the way people drive on ice around here.

It doesn't look good for me to come up on Saturday. I'm going to make the call Saturday morning whether I go or not.

I will be there Friday if anyone wants to go out to lunch then. Look for me. If I'm not walking around, I'll probably be sitting at the currency tables.

I had fun too. There's another Baltimore show in March. Plan on doing lunch again! I hope the snow doesn't arrive a day early. If it gets hairy getting up there tomorrow morning, I'm turning the car arouind and going back home.
