    SEGS? Beautiful coins.

    I'd go 64 and 65, respectively.

The history behind the Morgans is cool, but man, they just look haggard compared to a strongly struck, mark-free Peace.

    Amazing cheek on the 1925.

Both have very nice obverses and are potentially limited gradewise by their reverses. I'd say 63 and 64?
  • Nice image

    66 and 65

I like the 22 and it looks to be a D and I think it could go 66. The 25 could go 65 or even higher. Lustre that cannot be seen well in the photos will be the key as to whether a 66 and 65 is right.

The luster on both is eye popping:

The problem is both coins are held back by the reverse. The 22-D could probably
go 64 but its not worth it. The 25 has an amazing obverse married to a 64 reverse.
I was hoping they'd split me the difference but as you can see...

I'd guess ms 65 on the obverses.

  • The 22-D appears to be the better coin. If the 25 is a 64 then the 22-D looks more like a 65 in my opinion. It is a little sharper. Send it back to Newport Beach. If it doesn't receive a 65 it most certainly should get a 64.
  • Woah!! Very beautiful Peaces.

They look different because I shot the first ones with
a tripod and the second ones on my desk.

The first pictures are closer to what they look like in
hand. The second ones show the luster which is mirror-like.

There are a few hairlines on the cheek of the 22-D which
don't show up in the photo. They only show if you turn the
coin in hand but I'm sure that influenced the grade.

I'm still not comfortable grading these. I need to look at
    lots more examples.
