is this an 1886 s/s vam 2

playing with my new microscope I came across this what I believe is an 1886 s/s vam 2. still practicing with pictures so bear with me. so is this one? housed in an older green label pcgs holder as MS65. if so what to do next to get it in a holder stating such. when is pcgs going to attribute vams?

  • Yep. Is it a bit prooflike too? Check for die chips in the top of the loop of the 6 too.

  • Interesting. I suspect there are more of these around that previously thought (mines a 63PL rattler). But they are very popular and at MS-65 you're within the condition census for this VAM I think. Nice find- I remember the Coxe Registry set at NGC has a good write-up/photos on this VAM date (click his coin description. www.ngccoin.com).
