    Nope - he was drafted by Pittsburgh and was cut before the year began. However, he did "suit up" for them image

    No my dad is a fan off Johnny Unitas. And my dad told me that once he was on a few teams. But did he ever play in a game ? I had to reread and saw suited up and that got me thinking.

    Didn't realize Unitas declined so badly after the 1967 season.

    TD passes = 38 vs picks = 64. Anyone remember the nature of his injury in 1968 ?

    In 1967, I believe he tore his achilles tendon.
