So the boss brings in this friends childhood collection.

Guy has seen me on ebay, and talking about sportscards. This guy he takes care of is 60 yars old, and had some cards lying around. I actually got excited, until he brought the box in. 1988, 89 topps in a photo album. 82 topps and donruss=no stars. One 34 goudey common with six creases ...bLEH!!!

  • I had the same thing happen to me two weeks ago. Our VP said he was bringing me a box of "really old cards" his neighbor didn't want anymore, and that I could have them for free.....I guess '91 Donruss counts as "really old". On top of that, they were pretty much all commons. blech image

    just wondering....suppose the guy brought in some mint '52 Mantles......would you have told him how much they go for?
