Any coin dealers in the Tustin, Cal. area?

LanLordLanLord Posts: 11,714 ✭✭✭✭✭
I may be down in the area helping my brother move next week. If I can weasle some free time I'd like to search some fresh pastures.

Anyone have any suggestions (nice suggestions, I already know the ones like "go to he!!" and "up yours").

I will also be in the Glendora area, if anyone knows some dealers in that area.

Thanks.

  • I live in the Tustin area, but can't recommend any that wouldn't be a waste of time.

    Nice little shop, "Bob Patchins Coins". On Tustin Blvd, south of Chapman (I think). West side of the street, in a little strip-mall. (Being specific so you can avoid the crappy place on the east side of the street). image

    Not much in the way of certified...mostly raw. Picked up some undergraded coins there in the past....Worth a look if you're in the neighborhood.

    I grew up a half mile off of Tustin Ave in Orange but moved away when I was 8. I don't know what's there, I didn't drive much then and didn't really have any money.image

    Not so close, but some CU forum members:

    It's named MNMCOIN and is located right off of I-15 and Rancho California (the main exit to Temecula).
    Drive west and turn left at the first light;
    drive approximately 3/4 mile and he's located past sixth street (I believe), on the left hand side.

    Wow! Blast from the past! I spent four years at the Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin right on Redhill Ave back in the late 80s...Very fun area, although I wasn't collecting at the time so I'm absolutely no helpimage

    I'd also recommend Bob Patchin, solid grader and fair to deal with. Not much in the way of slabs, but worth a visit. Close to where you'll be, that's for sure. Good luck!
  • So you're coming to Orange County, land of the scam and you think you're gonna find the little country coin store with the unpicked fruit. Good luck
