What is the maximum amount you're allowed to receive in your PERSONAL account at PayPal?

Before they whack you with charges. I heard they lowered it again.image

The limit is $10K per transaction. quasi-cash payments do not count toward the monthly $500 limit so in essence you could pass a million dollars thru PayPal $10K at a time. It might ketch their attention tho.

Do quasi-cash payments get a charge?

no payments get a charge in a personal account. a quasi-cash payment is for non goods or non services like an aunt sending her nephew $50 as a birthday present.

While I don't profess to be the sharpest tool in the shed its amazing how LITTLE smoe folks know about their PayPal accounts. When I ask smoeone to send payment as quasi-cash they seem dumbstruck, like WTF is that. They finally do catch on tho.

If someone sends you payment to a personal account other than quasi-cash simply refund the payment and have them pay the "right" way.
