NewPS from Nashua Show: Morgan 1891-S DMPL

I met with Ron's Collector Coins at the show. He is great to deal with. I purchased this coin from him. The picture does not have the correct white balance. New camera with Macro lense is being ordered. What do you think?

Brian: That's a really beautiful 1891-S Morgan!! image I assume that the image shown is from a scanner, and not a digital photograph. I'd love to see a digital photo of it to get a better idea of the reflective depth of the mirrors.

If the mirrors are as deep as I think they are (interpreted from the scan), then I figure it's a very likely MS-64 DMPL, with perhaps a bit too much contact mark chatter in the obverse fields to make MS-65 PL/DMPL.

Based on my CDN Greysheet that's probably a 4 figure coin. image Do you plan to send her in for certification??

Congratulations and enjoy the pride of owning her!!

If you came in the door closest to the right wall. He was the in the middle of the front row. Great guy. I enjoy talking with him each time I see him.

Stuart. It is from my digital camera. I am going to get a new camera so I can close enough for good detail shots. I have decided upon the Nikon D70 with a macro lens. Hope to order this week. I hope to send the coin in next round to PCGS. Thanks, I like your new purchase. Real nice O mint!
