Ebay seller question

What is the general opinion of 4 Sharp Corners from the members of this board? It seems that they get a lot of interesting remarks concerning their submission habits from some that post here. Also, are those that have bought from them happy with their experience? Just curious. Thanks.

  • I bought a bunch (~20-30) '76 Topps PSA cards thru them. No problems at all.

Some people seem to think they get an obligatory massive submission bump in grades....don't know if that can be proven or if it's just sour grapes.
  • Thanks, Dallas88. I looked at their offerings on Ebay tonight and it seems they have a lot of nice cards. Good feedback, too. I'm still interested in what others might have to say about them as well. By the way, I am an old, suffering Royals fan too. Maybe they can turn it around someday.

4_Sharp_Corners has a big stash of unopened vending boxes from the late '70s into the '90s, and they keep a steady stream of PSA 9's and 10's flowing into the markeplace. They probably have a mega-bulk deal with PSA at $3 a card or something like that.

Flooding the market aside, they are great to deal with. You just learn to wait them out when they introduce a PSA 10 at a ridiculous price. A few times through eBay without a bid, and it eventually comes down to a place where somebody would be interested.

They like me (my money, that is) so much that they are taking me fishing off the Outer Banks in the spring. image

I've dealt with 4 Sharp Corners repeatedly over the last year and have been pleased every time. They provide outstanding, quick and friendly service. The few times there has been a glitch in the process, I've emailed them and they've answered the next morning, rectifying the situation in every instance.

They are good sellers, who I think are over the shipping problems they had last fall. Even then, they handled the problems quickly and professionally - and I have bought from them since.

On one occasion, they could not find a '75 PSA 8 card I had picked up for $5 (it was part of a shipment of around a dozen cards). They included a cash refund and a handwritten note explaining the problem. That's the only hint of a problem I have ever had in dealing with them. Shipping is professional and fairly quick, and their communications are great (confirmatory emails when payment is received and when items are shipped).
BTW, making_the_grade is at the same address, although payments cannot be combined.
Now that Joe Tuttle has moved over to Superior, 4SC/MTG is probably my favorite dealer for semi-vintage and modern PSA cards.
