BARBER DIMES...Let's get it on...

If in fact some think they TRUMPED the collection at FUN how about a SHOWDOWN??? Let's SEE the sets and see who has better looking coins and not labels. I believe that the current #1 set has many coins in old green holders that are not only more "original" but better looking than some recently auctioned. The prices can lie...the eyes don't.

Any takers???

As a whole, I felt too many of the Hugon mint state coins lacked that original look that so many of us like. Some were very colorful but too many white ones imo.

The issue is, besides bragging rights over who bought what, who really HAS the better quality set. Mr. Law's wouldn't hold a candle to the Blay set. That's the challenge that is made. Of course the "quiet man" wouldn't go for it..he would lose.

  • I don't see why the Law' Heritage coins can't be registered alone. They're already pictured/graded in the sale. Then LMS can call or fold with his own matching stuff. We can see any undergraded coins in old PCGS holders--and judge easily.
