    The only non-silver coin I picked up today was a 1944 Belgium 2 Francs - these were minted in the US on a steel penny blank

    I did see some nice copper/bronze though, including 2 nicely toned George V 1/12 Anna coins from India

    Interesting - my 1971 Dahomey 200Fr does not match any of the 3 varieties listed in my 2001 Krause. The 999.9 counterstamp is below the CFA. The 3 listed varieties (2.1, 2.2 and 2.3) show the counterstamp in other places on the reverse. So is this 2.4? The coin is, afterall, over 30 years old.

    Well, without a catalog to help me right now, all I remember about Dahomey is that there are some very expensive BBL coins from there, and some of the gentlemen around here have been known to post pictures. Yours is clothed I see.
