I didnt really dip it.......per say.....I am afraid of ezest on the proof cameos.......would it help anymore? Or did i go the best as to be expected with MS70/water rinse and acetone?

the MS70 was 50% with 50% distilled water....followed by tap water rinse and then three bowls of Acetone.

that fingerprint annoys me as well.........more exporation to remove it may be possible.

It looks like it was on the orginal so it is probably set into the surface of the coin. Acid etched probably. At least from what I can tell of your pictures.

LIndeDad, yep, it was there before the conserving....sounds so much better than cleaning.......I will probably live with it the way it is.
