I like 1932 Sanella Margerine because it's one of the few cards from Babe's playing days that I can afford. It's a very attractive card, though it has a few drawbacks for me: It's oversized, very flimsy (thus very hard to find in high grade, only 2 graded mint), and I can only make out a little of the German on the reverse. I have two complete raw sets, with the Ruths graded. The cards depict all manner of sports and outdoor activities -- swatting HRs out of Yankee Stadium being one of them.

  • i like the sanella's too. I'm a big fan of the early bowman cards, especially 1951...and sanella's look very similar in design (at least in the front).
  • THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND TROUBLE.
