Okay I finally did the angled glass light box thing, and it really works!

I built my contraption out of Garage scraps, and spent a dollar on a cheap picture frame.

The two long lag bolts hold the picture frame under tension, so it can be adjusted slightly, but the top of the bolt heads
are pretty much where 45 degrees is set at. I RTV'd the glass into the frame so it wouldn't wiggle around. The Glass is also easily
removed for when it is not needed.

Everything is just scraps, and regular copy paper with some lamps I had hanging around. The two side arms fold down.

    The camera in the tripod is a Nikon 8700, and the camera I used to take the Camera's picture is a Sony FD83... image

    Jeez ... I've been trying to draw up a plan for making the blasted thing out of wood. Your setup looks perfect, and will take me a lot less time to construct, too.

    The angle is 45 degrees, give or take one or two degrees....

    Hummmmm.....

    Just realized the down side(s) to my new found knowledge....
    Looks like I'll be retaking a couple thousand pictures....
    so....
    may as well get a new camera....
    Post pone a few weekend projects for a bit....

    hummm....
    and this time, buy some roses First!
