  • The first thing that comes to mind is one of those machined coins where the coin is cut in half and put back together again, to make it look rotated.

  • The question is- Is it really an error at all? I can swing a coin to look off anyone can do this. this is a coin in hand deal to truly see if there is an error to it.

    Not even close to an error. Mint tolerances allow for a +/- 30 degrees to be considered within spec. And it'd take something like near a medal rotation before it'd be worth something.
