    I'd say 64, but it's hard to tell with the image, it's a bit dark. If it's as clean as it looks, it may go 65.

    I'd venture a guess that it has had a bad dip job resulting in the splotchy toning, reducing it's eye appeal, and therefore likely to get an MS-64 grade.

    As Eric mentioned the photo does not reveal all of the surface luster on the coin, and it's possible that it may have very slight wear which we can't detect from the photo -- therefore Upside MS-64; Downside AU-58++

    I would say 58 based on the flatness in the hair above the ear. If that is strike related and not wear, then I guess I would say 63, shot @ 64.

  • 64, I think. Alternatively, 58. I'm basing the 64 on strike.
    The strangest things seem suddenly routine.
  • Agree with Stuart's assessment--the luster is impaired rather than toned over IMHO.
