Big Ben better have a better game next weekend or it will be a Long day.

was quite an exciting game today though. I don't have any fingernails left.

I think Herm Edwards was so excited about the win last week he forgot what Schottenheimer did on the Chargers last drive. He did exactly the same thing this week and made Brien attempt a 43 yarder to win the game. Yeesh! He had first and ten at the 25 with 3 timeouts and 1 minute left. Two runs into the line and than a ridiculous kneel down by Pennington. Game after game his clock management and decision making in the last few minutes is dubius at best. The defense kept them in most of the games and the fact the offense scored only 3 points today was fitting. The defense almost saved him again today, but in the end they were too worn down. Pittsburgh is a better coached team and they played to "win" where as usual the Jets played "not to lose".

That was all Paul Hackett's doing I'm sure. His conservative play calling AGAIN when we have a team by the cajones just cost him his job. He did it on BOTH sets of downs prior to the FG attempts.

Pittsburgh's defense is awesome. We didn't get in the red zone once, and we didn't get in the red zone in game 14 either. That's 9 quarters including OT.

It is always easy to be a Monday Quarterback but you will have to wait until tomorrow.

I agree, if they play like that against the Colts or the Pats - doubtful that they win. Still, you have to give Big Ben credit for not folding under the pressure of being down 17-10 in the fourth quarter, he made several nice plays down the stretch (as did the running game Bettis / Staley).
