Someone just paid me but sent payment to my old E-mail account and it hasn't been claimed since hopefully no one owns my old E-mail address. How can I get this straightened out?

    I just had this happen to me except I actually sent a Paypal payment to an incorrect address (I used the Paypal link in the auction so I'm not sure why it happened). The seller requested that I just cancel the payment and re-send to the correct address. Hopefully, you could do the same thing and the buyer would oblige. Good luck...

    yep. that is all you gotta do. have the buyer cancel the payment and resend to the new address.

    You are right . It was easy. Now if the wrong E-mail address was owned by a real person who took the funds, that would be another story.

    What if someone mispelled your E-mail address and sent funds to some mean non-eBayer? It could be a real mess.
