I wonder how legitimate the bidding was. Many of the people willing to pay $20K or more to have their words tattooed on this guy's forehead had zero or little feedback -- just like the seller. Probably all just some weird PR stunt, and no money will ever change hands.

Ebay probably doesn't care...they won't charge the seller for the buyer backing out, and they got a ton of free advertisement because of this.

The big difference is the owner of the grilled cheese sandwich did actually get paid 28,000 for it.

I think the guy will get paid for sure from this auction... I wouldn't be suprised if a large TV network placed a winning bid, and agreed to follow him around for the 30 days with a camera and turn his life into a reality show.
