Poll: Selling older coins to buy modern ones

I have acquired a bunch of Morgan Dollars, and I don't really like them. I think they are fugly. I am not interested in collecting this series. I do, however, like a lot of the (EEK!) more modern coins. Example: 'some' of the coins from the RCM/Canada, as well as a few other (YIKES!) darkside designs/silver.
I am trying to decide if it would be wise or stupid to sell all the Morgans and buy what I like to look at instead. Please help me decide if this is foolish or not. <ENTER POLL>. Comments welcome/don't be too hard on me.

Don't listen to people neging moderns, it's your collection not theirs.
Best of luck with what ever you decide to do.
If you are collecting for imvestment purposes, then you need to keep the older ones.
But, most of us are collecting for personal enjoyment, so you need to do what makes you happy.
It doesn't matter what you collect, or how many, just as long as you get something out of it.
Have fun and enjoy it.
If you happen to make a little money out of it along the way, Great. If not, at least you had fun doing it.
Don't listen to the likes of Russ.
Edited for spelling

want to save them anyway for "investment". I believe that the increases in the last few years in
moderns will continue, but that doesn't make them a good investment. Only time will tell.
I see moderns that are too pricey.
If you ever expect to get fair money back the possibility for disappointment risk is higher IMHO.
Russ, you don't have to be so nice about it.
Didn't you notice that I put in a sentence for you...........

I for one would not look at the moderns to provide a big appreciation. History shows it takes at least 30-40 years before most coins start on a true(non_dealer manufactured) upward trend.
Il blasphemy di It's nel mio parere a seel più vecchio più experiencenced le monete per la roba di rifiuto moderna.
Of course, as always, this is IMHO ...
