Anyone have a guess how many "market makers" there are out there?

There have been several posts about the high end coins in the FUN auctions that have been going for very, very strong money. Obviously not all collectors can afford to pay these kinds of prices. I assume that a very limited number of collectors are purchasing these very high end coins. Can anyone venture a guess how many of these high end collectors are out there? It would probably depend on the series, so if you have any guesses by series, that would be fine (i.e., a gold coin collector may not be willing to pay crazy money for a trade dollar, for instance). Based on what I heard, it seems that a lot of the major dealers have been purchasing these very high end coins. Because they are in the business of dealing and not collecting, I assume those coins immediately went to clients. Therefore, does anyone have an idea of the true number of the "market makers" out there. Note that I define a market maker as someone who can truly move the prices up in a series through their purchases.
