Heritage Price Level - Proof Nickels

I was the under bidder on several of the 1950's proof nickels. These prices seem moderately strong. I'm glad to see interest and solid pricing although disappointed on not 'winning' some more coins for the registry set. Also ran on these.
1958 5c Pr68Dcam $8k (3/0) 1958 5c
1967 5c SMS Pr68Dcam $6k (1/0) 1967 5c
These are both key dates. I thought the 1958 was a reasonably good deal and a great coin.
I wanted the 1967, but it would expand my registry set post-1964. Not sure I have the $ for that. Also, not sure if the pop will stay stable. For now a pivotal coin.

Badger,
That's okay, since you already have a nice 1967.

-- The difference in pricing between the top top pop and the next tier is staggering. Not sure what that means other than people are paying up for the top coins with excellent quality. Would like to see the second tier firm in pricing closer to the top.
Russ - had to go all the way to 68Dcam to get a coin that looks as good as the one in hand
