These two large cents are from the same collection as the half. The 1856 shows alot of traces of red, the 1832 has no traces of red , but real original color. Attached below Please give your opinions.

The 1856 may be MS but I think I see a little wear on Liberty's
cheek. If there's no wear it looks MS-63.
Both are super coins!!!

BTW, to insert pictures in a thread, all you have to do is copy the URL (web address) of each image and put opening and closing tags before and after the URL, as I show in black in the example below. (The red area is where your actual URL goes).
This can also be accomplished by clicking the little "picture frame" icon ( ) on the toolbar when you're in message post mode.
Thanks LordM
Edit to add a PS- I had an 1853 half cent with a similar look to that '56 cent of yours. It did go MS60 BN when I submitted it, which surprised me. I considered it AU55 to AU58. (It was graded by SEGS, though).
I really like that 1832. Funny how one of the dumpiest representations of Lady Liberty has become one of my favorites- I love those Coronet/Matron Head cents.
Maybe it's because I dug one with my detector.
My buddy found a nicer one.
The 1832 just bodybagged, "Damaged" at PCGS.....I will find the reason it bagged once I have the coin in hand. BB# is 21880446
Nice score on the 56 LC, clearly a ms coin

Is pcgs specific in their "damage" or is it up to you to guess?

Rhedden.....This coin has lots of red. My photo makes it look brown. I would love to see this in a MS NGC holder. I will closely inspect this coin for any PVC. Is there a safe way to remove PVC from copper?
Baley and Conder101.....If I decide to sell it I will let you two know. A bodybagged coin does not mean I have given up on trying to have this coin slabbed. My picture sucks....this coin is gorgeous chocolate brown.
The other thing to do is to look at the deeper brown areas with a high powered loupe. If it is slightly porous or rough, then PCGS may not want to grade it, and there is no way to save it. The dark brown areas may be places where the coin was already damaged by PVC or other contaminants and someone else cleaned it off before selling it to you.
I really didn't want the hassle of dealing and waiting on NCS.
