VAM help-what the heck is this 1878 1 TF?

I used to think I knew a little about 1878 P 7/8 TF. I bought this slabbed Morgan last week at a coin show. I swear to goodness, it looks like a TF remnant under TF 3. Also, significant die clash under the bottom lip. I sure can't attribute it. Is there any such things as a 7/1 TF reverse?
It is a PCGS MS 63, by the way.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Rick

The leaves are all connected and it has the long nock. No doubling on the feet or legs. There is a distinct additional tail feather below feather #3. Strange indeed.

Edited to add: The clash would indicate it is a VAM 84 too. You may have one with the ever-so-faint clashed E!

I checked mine and they do have this slight doubling on the tail feather but your coin is the VAM 84. I'm not sure if this is significant enough to mention to Leroy Van Allen. You could mention it to him and see what he thinks.
