An ebay user stole an 04-05 SP GU Pau Gasol/Andrei Kirilenko Dual Auto Patches #/5 (redemption) from me by winning it on ebay and using fraudulent paypal funds to obtain the item. Civil lawsuit + criminal charges are still pending and will continue to be fully pursued. Given that the card was a redemption, I contacted Upper Deck. Today I received these emails from Chris Carlin. Long story short: A bit of justice has been done and a card that was STOLEN from me is now MINE again
I have located this customer's information. They were operating under the name Maxim Vidun. I have placed all their redemptions on hold in case they have tried this with other customers. I can transfer the redemption card over to you, I just need you to set up an account with your shipping information on our website www.upperdeck.com. From there we will ship the actual card to you and you can do what you wish with it from there. Please let me know once you've set up an account and I'll have the card transferred.

You mean, we aren't going to waste the autographed sticker unless someone actually
redeems the card, so we don't have to waste money on cards that are never turned in!
UD is a crock, for every story like yours there are 50 stories of them screwing the customer. I
sent in a high dollar redemption that according to beckett hadn't expired, after they told
me they would honor it and then they didn't and sent me 5 packs of crap.
People need to realize that UD is STILL putting out redemptions that are code stealable.
They don't care, only because you went to the authorities they are helping you.
