When collecting error coins, what would the general rule for markup be for lamination errors? I have a couple of interesting ones that I will post pics on tomorrow. None of them are keys but I would like to find out if it would be worth my while to auction them off or keep them and start a series?

Pricing lamination errors would depend on how dramatic the lamination and the coin type. Posting pictures will help.

I'd have to say not very--the big laminations can take 50% or more of a side

I have seen laminations mark coins down, not up. It probably depends on the coin, the appearance and size of the lamination, etc.

That's a nice '45 does the error extend to the rev as well?

wartime nickels are prone to lamination errors, but that 1 is particularly nice.

hint: laminated gold is RARE!
