I have a 1970 S proof dime and don't know the difference between the CA and DC for the price guide. How can I tell?
I am the rare breed of "nerds", a really cute girl that collects Star Wars stuff and coins!

The designations of Cameo and Deep Cameo refer to the contrast between the fields and devices on the coin.
The field is the flat surface and the devices are the raised items, such as the portrait, date, and lettering.
When there is no contrast, it is just a regular proof.
When there is contrast it is a cameo and when the degree of contrast is more intense, it is a deep cameo.
