I have bought graded cards from this seller - so, why wouldn't he have graded this card?

Yeah. I would imagine a card in this condition would bring a small fortune if graded. Really odd.
  • If it is too good to be true ....

There is no way the card is NM-MT. Same logic applies when buying raw inventory from dealers that sell primarily graded inventory - you are most likely buying the leftovers. If you are okay with that - you can probably get some acceptable raw cards for your raw sets, nothing more.

    The card is definitely trimmed.
Bottom right corner underneath 2nd base.
You can see it from the back view as well.
From the back, you see the fuzz starts to disappear or loop in
right at that exact spot. The right edge also looks wavy
    to me IMO.

I was bidding on that Palmer PSA 9 too. Did you check it over or are you afraid to?
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    He's also offering this:

    PSA6

Wonder which will end up higher? (Betcha the raw card will - and someone will be disappointed).

Funny you mentioned the lower right corner being trimmed - it's the first thing I noticed as well.

  • There is also a spot on the upper right corner that appear to be a mistake in trimming.

If the card were good, I would like to upgrade the one I have in my raw set!

    That's a really nice PSA 6.
Must be a surface crease somewhere.
Looks like a solid 9 and the centering
is a lot better than the raw one. I'm sure the
raw one was probably rejected somewhere
down the line. Maybe it was in a PRO holder
    prior to its nakedness.
  • I had this same card returned "miscut". Received a free grading, however.
