Thanks for looking!
The CC item is VERY cool! A 7-page letter regarding the cost of setting up the CC mint between the director of the mint, a US Rep., and the Secretary of the Treasury. This was pulled from the 1869 Congressional Records! An unbelieveably cool item! The auction.
There are some other neat lots, too, such as toned lincolns, and a a 7-coin colonial copper lot.
Thanks for your time!

I am interested how you came to possess the congressional record for the cost of the CC mint. Would this document be subject to US government property recovery? What authenticates it as original and authentic? Not trying to imply you are scamming anyone. Just really curious.

This was consigned to me from someone whom I fully trust. I am not sure of the story of how this was aquired into private hands, but I have no reason to believe that what I was told is anything but truth. Sorry that I don't have a more concrete history for you.

"I believe it's a stand along report that was submitted to Congress and then included in the Congressional Record. It was probably removed from a bound copy of the Congressional Record. I'm sure it was printed in 1869. "
