PCGS Price List

How often does PCGS update their Price List on Morgan Dollars?
Is it done on an individual bases,or is there a set time table, such as quarterly?
I have several rare dated Morgans that are slabbed, such as the 1895-O,1893-O, 1893-CC that have just skyrocketted in the last 6 months.Something like $ 500.00 each.
I'm just curious and would appreciate any input from the experts out there. Thanks, TOM

  • PCGS is currently updating the price guide after a rather long period of neglect. So, some rather large price jumps are to be expected.

The price guide is close on some coins, over on some, and under on others. Trouble is, this can all happen in one series! Overall though, I think PCGS does a decent job in a difficult, fragmented market. Another good source of prices is Heritage (join for free and search their auction archives)

    BTW, welcome to the boards!

The prices listed in the PCGS Price Guide are the average dealer asking prices for properly graded United States coins.

The prices are compiled from various sources including dealer ads in trade papers, dealer fixed price lists, significant auctions, and activity at major coin shows.

Prices for the most actively traded coins are updated daily. Other issues are updated as needed. All prices are reviewed at least once a month.
