I sold my commem set "into" the bull market, and hoped my timing was good. I felt that "grade-flation" had become so prevelent that I could not afford to stay "in the game". Bruce, could you share your motivations to sell?
  • Hi guys..yes its so...I guess the thrill of the hunt was over for me..I love the pursuit and these 8 sets were about as complete with best possible examples for each date in my opinion..so its off to the start of a couple new sets that should take me a long time to complete...Many of these coins going to auction I know will be unreplaceable and that part is really hard, but its time..

    Bruce,

You were most gracious towards me when I initially completed my type set of early commemoratives. I have also marveled at the accomplishments you have achieved in the area of proof Barbers; are all of your sets now consigned to a retail dealer or , to an auction house ?

I had the opportunity of examining the proof Barbers at the Heritage table while I was at the FUN show. Marvelous...simply marvelous !
