DUIGUYDUIGUY Posts: 7,252 ✭✭✭
The dealer with whom I do most of my buisnes with has a 1889cc NGC VF30 for $2900.00.
Is this a fair price? I want to pad the purchace with an 1879s PCGS MS66,
1908 PCGS MS62 and

What could I expect the dealer to give me for these on trade? $20.00 LIB. MS62

$2900 is ridiculous. I believe a board member has a PCGS VF30 for under $2000, and I sold one a couple of months ago for $1875.

I agree, Steve Estes prices are 2550.00 to 2200.00.

Funny you mentioned Steve Estes. This is a nice looking VF30 he has for $2550.

Does he allow trades such as the ones above?

Yep, that's a textbook example of what a mid range circulated Morgan should look like.

I don't think he handles much in the way of 66 Morgans. I think you would be better off offering it and the $20 Liberty on our BST board.

Good idea. How do you go about the priceing?

That is a nice, problem free and original 89-cc that Steve has and it is, in my opinion worth a premium. I do not think an asking price of 2550 is outrageous...

I don't handle the $20 Libertys much, but the 79-S Morgan in 66, unless it has really nice toning, will run in the $375 range.
