look through the sellers feedback and tommyt....both have bought a lot of manning cards and go figure tommy just bought himself a lot of mantle reprints. the seller is tommyt.
ill give you till the end of the night to cancel this auction and your others befor i contact ebay. tommyt7770 is your main id. i know this because both tommy and superman buy manning cards and tommy just bought a lot of mantle reprints which supperman now has listed as the real deal. if you are going to try to steal from people dont be so obvious. loser.
good call with the e-mail...just a heads up that I am not as patient as you. I reported the seller for solicitation of off-site sales (with the SI mags) and shill bidding, hoping that some team at eBay takes a look. Didn't want to waste any time since eBay is so slow to act.
this jerk hit the bin on 10 of my auctions and you guessed it left 10 negs for me. this ruins my 100%. do i have any chance of getting ebay to undo this? the negs also came with an email stating he had no intention of paying and was just trying to ruin my name.
Was this retaliation for contacting ebay ? If so i would contact them and let them know. I assume you have his email for proof. I can't believe ebay would let this happen being that it is so blatent.
Now, since you have me confused with someone else and you have a problem with me, it's sounds as if you will try to ruin my reputation as an e-bay member. You're previous implication was not taken well by me so go ahead and file your report with e-bay and you'll find out who is in the wrong. In the meantime, I also have the right to ruin your reputation by leaving at least 10 or more negative feedbacks for you. I looked at other members that have bid on my cards and tommyt wasn't the only one who has bought or sold Mickey Mantle or Peyton Manning cards in the past, so why are you not accusing more people of cheating? I don't understand what your problem is, but I will cancel my auctions before I let you slander me for something I don't have any involvement in and I'll follow your auctions to see if that's what you are up to. loser.

Go to live support and get him suspended for campaign to harass although with that email he could get you suspended for interference. If he gets negged for campaign to harass then Ebay will remove them.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
i was going to contact ebay but the negs are not there. not sure if he left them yet or what. as soon as he does i will. why would he buy 10 items, say he was going to neg me and then not? this guy is a piece of work.
Go ahead and send the email to Ebay showing where he paid and said he would that is feedback extortion and a campaign to harass which will get him suspended and he would then be unable to neg you.
<< <i>i was going to contact ebay but the negs are not there. not sure if he left them yet or what. as soon as he does i will. why would he buy 10 items, say he was going to neg me and then not? >>
he's wanting to make you sweat it out..
he's done a transaction with you, so get his contact info and find out where he lives.. then break his f##ckin teeth out on the pavement..
thats great...i didnt know. that when i got home i had this email for superman himself:
> I see you decided to go ahead with trying to sabotage my account and wrongfully doing so. Why? What did I do? Please advise soon or I will be forced to leave negative feedback for you on the auctions I won.
I wonder if ebay cancelled his account or what happened.

this just keeps gettin' better and better. the latest email-
First of all, I do believe you did something. Why else would I have 10 unpaid item strikes against me? I just won those 10 items two days ago. You can't submit that I wouldn't send payment after only two day. Now I have 10 unpaid item strikes against my account and I will definitely take action to appeal those since you wrongfully filed these reports against me. Also, I may have to leave negative feedback for you since you are filing false reports against my account. These negative feedbacks won't be removed as they are part of your permanent record. You can act as though you haven't filed any false reports against me, but I have e-mails showing your reports. What do you plan to do to correct this?
my reply....nothing-you are not even a registered user dickhead.
Amen.... to the suckers born every minute. i'm just glad everything worked out in your favor (Ranger63). Ebay sometimes s#cks when people try to do the right thing.
well he got me. a few days after this whole ordeal a 0 feedback user bought 10 more items from me. he did pay this time but still i was skeptical. i sent the cards with dc and they were delivered on 1-25 but still there are 10 negs saying not received. what a dick. i emailed ebay but they will most likely do nothing. this kills me because what if the guy just keeps on. over 200 transactions all pos and this guy is screwing me with my pants on. any advice on how to get him back?
Well if you have his address and contact info you can use in many ways to create new friends for him over the web/phone/mail but watch out for him striking back. If you have a lot of time these are two ideas that may get the feedback removed.
1. Feedback left by a member who provided eBay with false contact information and could not be contacted. In general, the transaction period is considered to be 90 days from the end of the listing or 30 days from the date the feedback was left, whichever was longer.
2. The feedback rating may be withdrawn if the feedback recipient initiated a dispute resolution process and the member who left the feedback did not respond to the request for mediation.
Ebay is very tough on removing feedback. I received a neutral from ebay when I changed my user name in early 1998 and they to this day they will not remove it. Only neutral I ever received.
ranger...sorry to hear about all this. guys like this really dont have a life. they try to pursue the all mighty dollar by screwing other people (obviously, they have very little sense of human dignity). when theyre caught red handed, as you and ebay caught him, they feel as if their manhood and ego has been diminished. unless you either knock some sense into this moron or punish him like you do with a dog who tries to bite, he's going to retaliate. Since ebay could give a rat's a$$, guys like this could come back and play childish games. this guy is probably in his mid 30's to mid 40's. he probably works some desk job in some large corporation. he feels small. the only way he can gain some sense of power is by screwing people over in ebay. when that stops, he turns to immature games like leaving negatives. if only you can meet him face to face....
ranger - post responses with the delivery confirmation number and state that the buyer is a suspected alter ego of a scammer who is now NARU for shilling. You have all 10 feedback spots to put responses in, so use them wisely.
I use a separate Ebay user for buying and selling. It's easier to keep track of everything that way, plus if I ever have to leave a neg as a buyer, I don't have to worry about retaliation (I have over 200 positives as a buyer, so I don't care if some negs my buyer account but I have never left or received a neg yet). I know it's too late for this situation, but something to think about in the future. Best of luck on this one though.
Feedback left by a member who provided eBay with false contact information and could not be contacted. In general, the transaction period is considered to be 90 days from the end of the listing or 30 days from the date the feedback was left, whichever was longer.
Feedback left by a member who bid on or purchased an item solely to have the opportunity to leave negative feedback for the seller, with no intention of completing the transaction.
I originally contacted a member,superman7035 to inquire about the legitamacy of an auction for a Mickey Mantle rookie card. I believed that superman7035 was a second id for tommyt7770. He later contacted me and said that he would not let me ruin his good name without getting me too. He used the BIN on 10 of my acutions. I filed a non paying bidder report and both of his ids became NARU. Soon after that a 0 feedback user bought 10 more of my auctions. I believed it was the same person but still completed the sale with dilevery confirmation (USPS 0303 2460 0000 9208 3031). I later see that the user gave me 10 negs stating items not received. The post office disagrees. I requested the users contact info but it was false. The confirmed address I sent the items to was in FL and the contact info states GA with a phone number of 999-999-9999. Please remove this and ban this user yet again.

Ranger, another suggestion when you email a seller about him/her selling questionable items create an ID just for that. For those ask a question thing on ebay, even you click that to hide your email address it still show your ebay ID. I learned my lesson before luckily it's my buyer ID that I used to warn another buyer that he/she bidding on a fake Yugioh Blue eyes white dragon exodia set. The person forwarded my email to the seller and the seller sent me threatening email and accused me of defammation. I emailed that buyer who I sent the letter to the seller and thank for dragging me into it. I told him/her that I'm just trying to help in preventing him buying counterfeit items. I now have an ID with 0 FB for this. I try to help cause some buyers also warned me of stuff that are questionable, too. Like I almost bought 5 boxes (since it's cheap) of Yugioh blue eyes white dragon. Luckily I didn't pay right away cause I wanted more boxes then I received an email from somebody telling me the contents of the boxes are search and resealed (NOT FACTORY SEALED) and other selling IDs he used. I got an invoice for the boxes saying he's on vacation visiting in-laws in CA for the holiday and a friend is taking care of the sales and will try to open email whenever he can. So I used my other ID and asked if boxes are FACTORY SEALED. Never got a reply just an automated reply that he's out of town. Seller got NARU after a few days.
guess what...hes back. a different name with invalid contact info. im sure ebay will remove the negs when left or NARU this jerk agian. this is his fourth attempt to do this.

Shill bidding. IDs: tommyt7770 and professionalcards are friends of seller or is the seller. Look at bid history of other items of seller.

To answer the original question why are there bidders, as P.T. barnum would say
"There's a sucker born every minute"!
