I took some added time to do a search though what others have posted about my buying in the past, and read the 7 rules about DONT BUY RAW and BUY THE COIN NOT THE SLAB. and dont rush. and look around and GO to people who have a good record. and most importantly DONT BUY RAW.
with that said i have my eye currently on a 1906D $10 gold piece graded by NCG at MS-62. now i know its not PCGS but since im looking into it and thinking about swinging it. i do have a question or 2.

Thats the coin in question. i Ilike the color and how clean the coin looks. NGC if i remember is 2nd or 3rd on the best company to have graded. ( i think its pcgs, ngc, and anacs not sure), But i didnt close in on this fastly i did look at many other sites and other goldcoins comparing grades ( slabbed grades) and i do like the looks of this 62. I saw alot of $5 and$10 in au-55 or au-58 and did not like certain features for as scraches color, or detail. I would like honest in put on this coin. tell me if you like it if you feel this is an honest ms-62. i know the price jumps big time from ms-62 to 63. and looking at the price on this compared to what PCGS.com daily price guide is its about 150 over it. i plan on talking and seeing if they can come down a little on that. I've seen enough of their items to see what type of swing( profit pet coin they try to do and i think they are grading this in their eyes as a ms 62+ for such a big jump over the $490 PCGS.com in the same grade. then again im buying it for the coin and not the grade. Its not a set thing i did email gail with a few questions. and ill keep my ears and eyes open. if anyone here has spotted another coin that might be what im looking for dont hesitate to say something.

I don't collect those, so I'll defer to the gold gurus for that part of the answer.

now you never know until you look at the coin in hand sight seen
i would suggest you call liz k at teaparty and say you are a new collector and you like the look of this liberty ten and could she describe it to you over the phone and address your concerns/questions about it
if you have a good conversation with her then ask her to send it to you and that if you deside against it would she give you a full return priviledge? if so then you got nothing to lose to take a look see at the coin
i would not worry about the coin being in an ngc or pcgs slab if you like the coin that is all that matters and on this coin i think if you like the eye appeal then it is worth the same pcgs or ngc
i guess life is about choices and there is no sure thing especially so with coins but life is a journey not a guided tour
you have made many strides and great decisions on how you went about desiding on this coin and dealing with a company with a GOOD rep so i think you are okie with not much downside if you like this coin in hand sight seen and again it might be better than 62???
call liz and taLK TO HER about the coin
good luck and tell us on here how it works out for you
