I was contacted by him many moons ago, but I've heard nothing from (or about) him lately. Is he still in the mix?

    Yep, Chris is with Leland's now. His contact info should be available (finally) from the Leland's web-site.

    While I believe Leland's is based out of New York, Chris works in Traverse City, Michigan. My parents have a cabin in Traverse City.

    I consigned some items to Leland's via Chris for their December auction. While I was there, I was able to see and hold the T206 Wagner. That doesn't make me cool or anything, but I never thought I'd see one that close up.

    You held the Wagner they displayed at the National?

    I'm not as cool although I did see it but wasn't able to touch it.

    No, I held it at Chris Porter's office in Traverse City. I asked him how the consignments were going and what the "highlight" item would be. He pulls a velvet pouch out of the safe and there sat Honus. He showed me some other stuff that was absolutely outstanding I'm sure (I think a high grade 52 Bowman Mantle), but I don't even remember it.
