Refund Wanted

I wanted you guys to take a look at this description and then the pictures and see if they match up in this item. I sold it and now the guy wants a refund because he says the he dint know the paint was bad. What do you guys think about this item.

    Paint was bad in what way? You did say it was perfect except normal wear, that left you wide open. When I say a card that is raw I never say the condition I post a pic and leave it at that.

    What about the final value fee and all that? Can you refund it through e-bay that would take care of this?

    Well, you do say it is "in absolute perfect condition." Despite the fact that the next sentence says "showing some signs of normal wear on cover and plated body" I don't think you were exactly clear in your description and the pictures may not depict the wear he sees. The contradictory description should probably have prmopted more detailed questions, but a refund is up to you (obviously).

    No I think its mine to pay for that. Yes i should have been more clear but I thought the picture clearly shows some small wear.

    Agreed...you absolutely owe this buyer his money back

    You stated 100% money back guarantee if not satisfied.

    Buyer is not satisfied.

    You owe a refund.


    Very simple.

    I agree....this thread is a non-issue....you either stand behind your guarantee or you don't. It's your integrity, or lack thereof, at stake.

    You guys need to listne to what I am asking. I always put 100% money back and I will always give it. If he is not happy wioth the item he should have his money back. The only thing I was wondering is if my description did not match up with my pictures. Okay, thats all.

    The other part of the description that I would reconsider is:

    This item looks better when viewing than any photo could ever do for it

    You leave yourself open for critcism by leaving an impression that defects are in the photo and not the item.

    You can get a refund on final value. Just notify the buyer after all has been settle between you that you are getting a final fee credit for return. Ebay will email the buyer about you asking for final value credit. When you file for the credit ebay will asked you if you want to block the bidder or not. Not sure about credit on listing fee.

    You probably need to adjust focusing or take clear picture of the item so the buyer will have a clear look at the extent of the wear.

    Yes, and its not a question of the refund because i will hive it to her anyway I was just wonderinmg about my description.
