New Dansco Jefferson Nickel Page coming soon

For those waiting for a new Nickel page with holes for the extra 2004 & 2005 coins, here's a follow-up to my post of a few days ago. I wrote Dansco asking about an updated Nickel page and here's the reply:

Dear Sir;
We are waiting as long as possible to create the new page. Still, we expect to begin production for that page this month and have it made available mid February. We ask that you be patient with us since the mint is very unpredictable. If you would like, we can send you ordering information for that page when it becomes available. Simply email us a mailing address and we will send you the order form. We thank you for understanding.
The Dansco Corp.

If you want to have the new order form mailed to you, their email is DanscoCorp@aol.com
(They really need a website)

    Thanks for the info. I'm sure a lot of members here will appreciate it. Now, when will Harris get caught up with their books?

    I've always hoped that Dansco would come out with special custom books for year sets. I was born in 1980 and have all the mint and proof coins from that year, and would like to put them into a pre-made Dansco Album for that year. It would be a small, two page album which would include holes for the mint and proof (Both types) coins for the penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half-dollar, and dollar. I could also use a Dansco Album with holes in it for all the coins and mintmarks (including proofs) for the year 1880 since I'm currently putting together an 1880 set as well. I don't think it will happen, but I've always thought about how neat those books would be. image
    I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.

    Jdurg,
    The new albums I got for Christmas contained an order form with all types of albums listed. They had many that I haven't seen on reseller web sites and the option of creating custom albums. They will even print the gold lettering on it just like the pre-made albums. I am pretty sure you could order custom albums just for your year sets with all the proper size holes.

    Nice! I'll have to look into that.
