What do you guys think about this AT Kennedy. Looks like a deep broiled rainbow oven nugget.

    I've handled dozens of those memorial holders and have never seen a coin that looked even remotely like the one in this auction.

    Definitely looks a little "too good to be true", especially for a 64D. Most of the ones I've seen tend to be on the drab side with gold/brown toning.

    you can see the little dot on both sides where someone blowtorched it!

    Yea, he removed it all right. If he hadn't that plastic would have melted all over the place!

    Yes...if it weren't for the spots on both front and back I would not have taken a stab at this one, but it sure looks like something was added.............

    Rainbowroosie Just curious I'm still learning about AT coins and trying to do research paper on it. What would be used 100% sulpher or a household chemical with sulpher as the main agent in it. The reason I ask is that I have "cooked" a few Kennedys for my paper with basically the same results and have never thought about chemical toning. Any thoughts on the process?
