Anyone know some dealers who are honest, with a good selection of coins that are slabbed and maybe raw that have online stores?

It would be helpful to know what kind of coins (series, grades) you are most interested in as there are several excellent dealers that only or mostly deal in a few select series of coins.

while in fact he has had only one year of experience...
twenty times.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Isn't that the "honest dealer" who submitted David Schweitz's 1919-S quarter to NGC for grading at the Baltimore show last June???

I agree, honesty in the coin business makes paying the bills difficult. The most honest sellers of coins with whom I have dealt have been fellow collectors, however, I heartily recommend the following honest dealers, with whom I've had many wonderful transactions.
Larry Hylton, Brownsburg, IN (no website)
Randall Holder
Among dealers whose coins I can afford only occasionally, I endorse:
Alpine Numismatics (David Olmstead)
Larry Whitlow
Boy, this thread is easier than listing all those dealers whose honesty I question.

For raw coins G&H: Try Jack Beymer in CA, or East -RCNH either Jon (great toned) or Paul (inexpensive circulated) for advice.
For nice grade certified: The list is long: Mark Feld Rare Coins, Wayne Herndon, and others here that are G&H plus
can provide great advice.
For a "Wide Selection" of certified: Less time to advise, but wide selection online: David Lawrence Rare Coins
For Expensive Investment Material that's RARE: Pinnacle, Legend, and RKay patterns etc.
Most Honest/Knowledgeable Auction House: ANR Coins, NH.
Most Honest Local Store in United States of America: All About Coins, Salt Lake City, UT. talk to Bob Campbell
Good Luck---"It is always best to buy quality, it lasts long after the price is forgotten"

WANNABEDEALER,
That's a pretty serious allegation. Do you have evidence to back it up?
Russ, NCNE
WANNABEDEALER- That IS a very serious allegation. SLQ Coins is of highest integrity and if you don't know who was involved in that
incident then you do your own research before connecting people's names to it.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Before you give out a glowing recommendation you should do some better research.

Well, I thought I was going to PM you but you don't have your PM turned on.

A guy by the name of Holder has a selection of raw coins? That's kind of funny
So does this Holder fellow have a website?
<< <i>Randy Holder has a great selection of raw coins, especially in the Barber series.

about everyone's been giving you advice, w/out asking an obvious question: what kind of coins??? i think it makes a huge difference between whether you wanna buy mega-dmpl super-ultra grade state quarters vs. those crappy old connecticut coppers....
can you be a bit more specific???
