While looking at a 1887 jubilee head half crown that I got recently, I noticed that there was some substantial doubling on the obverse...easiest to notice was that on the lower bust of Victoria, especially the J.E.B. initials. Is there a variety such as this listed, or is this common on British coinage? Is there any premium associated with this? Sorry about the picture of the initials, I had to take it through a microscope lens.
