    WOW, nice looking coin. I like the panda. btw, is there a damage or something of 5 in 2005? also at 9 O'clock position of the reverse.

    Good question - I thought the same when I first saw them, however they are on the plastic holder - look sorta like mold marks. The coin is flawlessimage

    There are 3 "tits" molded into the plastic capsule to keep to coin from rattling. The 2004 pandas did not have these and rattle like first gen PCGS holders. The 2005 pandas don't rattle but the plastic tits are visually annoying in my opinion, especially on the date side where they show up more. On the "panda" side, the tits land on the coins rim and are much less noticeable.

    Not sure which side is considered the obverse, some say it's the date side, others believe it the panda featured side.
