1940-S Merc PCGS MS67 Toner

This one has a really smooth transition in colors on the obverse. This is probably my current favorite mercury dime.

Very nice coin, great colors. It must have just missed FB due to the middle bands.

I like that one, and I haven't seen a lot of toned Mercs that I do like. The "smooth transition" you mentioned may be why, in addition to the symmetrical "target" toning effect on the obverse. Nice.

They're not far off, but I didnt expect to get a FB out of it. There are a couple of tiny merged places in the middle band. The top and bottom bands are FB. I love the eye appeal. It is target toner on the obverse. Unlike most target toners, there isnt an abrupt changes in colors. This one has a smooth, blended transition that give it a very pleasing look.
