How rare are 42/41 Mercs?

Just curious about how rare 42/41 & 42/41 D Mercury dimes are. Most of the "complete" Mercury dime sets I've seen for sale do not include them. Anyone have "guestimates' on mintages??

The 42/1 -- there are 1000's
The 42/1-D -- there are 10's of 1000's
Ironically, I typically see more of these overdates trade hands than nicely graded Merc's, some of which are in the 100's order of magnitude.
42/92
1916 D has four die sets and those four dies produced 264,000 coins. Based on that info the average 1916-D Die produced about 66,000 coins.
I would guess that there are no more than 100,000 of each Philly or Denver, but there is no way of knowing the exact number.
