Here's another one.... 22-P Peace dollar with a triple obverse. Is this just machine strike damage or a VAM?

Excellent pics! I suppose you would call this "machine tripling?" Most interesting. Are the lines caused by the die shifting during the strike? That's not something you always see.
Are these the only areas of the trippling? Can you list everything that is.....
<< <i>Haven't heard of a tripple obverse, just reverse. If you have a scale, weigh it., It could be a counterfiet. I've seen a 21' that had a tripple obverse that was....

Thanks Peaceman. I took some more pictures and can list the areas that I see tripling. It looks like a machine skip, but I don't know enough about this stuff. It came from a roll of 1922-P's.
It's tripled everywhere on the obverse. Because it's all on the left and looks like steps, I figured it was probably machine doubling with an extra.
Tripled date digits, LIBERTY, some of the of rays, the notch at the top of her hair (below R), the back of her hair (left of Y), profile (mostly nose), front of neck. IN GOD WE TRUST looks slightly doubled on the left. Two strands of hair coming from the back of her neck are doubled on the bottom. There are also two parallel die gouges ro scratches above her lip.
